The Shifting Market is the most efficient and least reliable method of travel in the Skyrealms.

It is a meeting place where every culture of the three islands haul their goods in hope of trading for otherwise inaccessible commodities. 

However, each day, the village vanishes from sight, reappearing on another island, taking with it whoever outstayed their welcome...

A Market That Shifts

The Shifting Market is a location written for use with SKYREALMS, a system-neutral fantasy almanac set amongst the floating islands deep in the Mist Sea. 

Specifically, it was written to be a part of The Skyrealms Jam, alongside many other really fun supplements.

Sights To See

Within these pages, you'll find many lovely landmarks, including:

• A Harbor, complete with a boat-exchange service with... reasonable prices.
• Three Inns across three islands, each with overbooked rooms and mediocre entertainments.
• A Jobs Board with quests both within The Market and across the 'Realms
• A Market Square where the people of the Skyrealms come to offer their goods and services for travellers. 
• A Surveyors Guild, looking for volunteers to help build bridges between the islands and discover what is mixing up the map of the Skyrealms. 
• The Mysteries Club, which is the residence of various sinister and occult figures, each trying to unravel the world around them for their own nepharious reasons...
• A Neighborhood where the locals call home, relax, and drum up their own drama or gossip to keep things interesting. 
• A series of Blackmarketers, who set up shop one day and are quickly escorted out of town the next. No matter which face ends up serving you, they can get you whatever you need for a steep price. 
  
• And The Locked Temple which is suspected to contain the Thing that causes the market to shift from one place to another. Nobody admits to owning the key to the dozen locks and everybody always watches the lone gate. If the Thing were to be stolen, the market would become a place like any other...
